Richard Costello brings together professional tour experience and a passion for teaching to help players of all levels reach their goals. Since turning professional, Richard has competed in a range of regional and international tournaments, gaining first hand insight into the technical, physical, and mental demands of the game. With a strong playing record and a deep understanding of high-performance golf, he offers a practical, experience-led approach to instruction.Alongside his competitive career, Richard is a fully certified coach with the United States Golf Teachers Federation (USGTF). He is equally at home working with beginners, juniors, or advanced players—tailoring his approach to suit each individual’s goals and learning style. Whether it's mastering fundamentals like grip and setup or diving into advanced topics such as shot shaping and course strategy, Richard’s coaching is clear, structured, and focused on lasting results.

His playing career has taken him across several international tours, including events in Europe and the United States. Known for his precision off the tee and a composed short game, he has consistently performed at a high level in both stroke play and match play formats. His experience competing in diverse conditions and under tournament pressure gives him unique insights into course management, mental focus, and preparation—elements he now passes on to his students. Richard continues to train and compete regularly, keeping his own game sharp and his coaching rooted in current best practices.

Pierre Pellegrin, one of Mauritius’ most recognised and respected golf professionals, has joined our coaching team. Having grown up with the game on the island, Pierre combines local knowledge with international playing experience, making him uniquely placed to inspire and guide our players. His career includes valuable time on tour, where he competed at a high level, gaining insights into the demands of elite golf and the mindset required for success. That tour experience, combined with his natural ability to communicate and coach, allows him to bring a professional edge to every session. With Pierre’s passion, expertise, and hands-on approach, our golfers will benefit from world-class coaching delivered with a personal connection to Mauritius itself.

• Sunshine Tour Appearances
  Since turning professional in October 2022, Pierre has stepped onto the Sunshine Tour stage — including a coveted invitation to compete in the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open at Mont Choisy Le Golf in December 2022. In this tri-sanctioned event (Sunshine, European, and formerly Asian Tours), he lined up with international stars like Dean Burmester , Marcel Siem and Thomas Bjørn.
• Amateur Milestones
  Prior to turning pro, Pierre featured in the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open twice — in 2018 and 2019 — as one of Mauritius’ leading amateurs, earning his place through standout performances like winning the Rogers Indian Ocean Amateur Golf Open.
• Regional Success and Growth
  Pierre’s development didn’t stop with the Sunshine Tour. In June 2023, he triumphed at the MCB Indian Ocean Open at Heritage Golf Club — a key regional tournament attracting top professional and amateur talent across the Indian Ocean — reaffirming his growing stature in regional golf
